Compatibility and rapport are important. An initial phone conversation will serve as a mutual discernment of this. Directees may be women or men at any adult state in life. Sessions are in-person (Louisville, KY area) or by Zoom. 

Confidentiality is held to the highest standard. The exceptions are as follows: court order or when anyone's safety is in question.

Understand that spiritual direction is not counseling, coaching, medical care, or confession. It is common, however, to discuss these related issues in the context of spiritual direction. 

Attentiveness includes punctuality of both the director and directee, meeting monthly, and notifying the director/directee in advance if one needs to reschedule or discuss ending the spiritual direction relationship.

Providing a stipend allows the director to continue this ministry. Contributions may be made on a sliding scale of $20-$50 per session (cash, check, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle).
